About the Opportunity

KingSett Capital is seeking a Manager of Investment and Fund Analysis to join the Toronto team, reporting to the Director of Finance. This role will involve creating and improving models used by the Fund teams, including those for investment metrics, distribution, and capital models for investment analyses, forecasting, and covenant compliance. They will also develop ad hoc models for transaction and sensitivity analyses. The successful incumbent will be a key resource for the Fund finance team and will be internally integrated with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, investment, asset management, and property finance.

Role Responsibilities

  • Oversee investment metrics and distribution model revamp initiative, working with third party provider to execute efficiencies and improvements in current models
  • Identify and implement improvements in capital models used for forecasting Fund activity and covenant compliance, and streamline processes across teams
  • Build models for transaction, scenario and sensitivity analyses
  • Coordinate and manage investor requests and communication processes for Funds finance teams
  • Assist with testing and implementation of Investor Relationship Management Database
  • Work on ad hoc projects and transactions

Candidate Profile

  • Undergraduate degree in business or finance
  • 5+ years of experience in a business or finance role, experience with modelling and investment analyses a strong asset
  • Demonstrate strong critical thinking and analytical skills, ability to present complex information and transactions in a clear, concise manner
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highest ethical standards and displays both professional and personal integrity
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize and juggle multiple competing tasks and demands under tight deadlines
  • Team player with positive attitude and exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Analytic and strategic thinker with the ability to assess complex situations and make effective recommendations
  • Dedicated, well-organized and resourceful individual with a high level of attention to detail
  • Proactive self-starter who can handle pressure effectively and is comfortable working with senior management teams
