Matthew is a Managing Director, Investments, at KingSett Capital. In this role Matthew is responsible for sourcing, structuring and negotiating the acquisition and disposition of real estate opportunities across Canada.
Matthew joined KingSett in 2010 after spending 6 years with Summit REIT and ING Real Estate Canada where he was Director of Investments primarily responsible for acquisitions and dispositions. Previous to this he spent 6 years building and developing residential properties in the Waterloo Region. Matthew’s career has allowed him to gain extensive experience in the industrial, retail and residential real estate markets as he sourced new opportunities, negotiated agreements and conducted due diligence. In addition, Matthew has experience in both greenfield and infill development of industrial and residential projects.
Matthew holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from McMaster University and a Master of Arts Degree in Urban Planning from the University of Waterloo.
