KingSett is pleased to announce that 66 Slater Street in Ottawa has now been re-certified to LEED O+M Platinum. This certification focuses on verifying and improving a building’s operational performance and is an excellent example of the continual improvement onsite to meet ongoing utility reduction targets.

KingSett is pleased to provide a repeat customer with a ‘one-stop’ financing solution totaling $72.0 million by offering both first and second mortgage construction loans for a total of $72.0 million. This 25-storey mixed-use project will bring 180 much-needed housing units to Coquitlam, British Columbia.

KingSett is pleased to have provided a $27.0 million first mortgage to finance two apartment buildings in Ottawa, Ontario. The properties are well-positioned for income growth given the strength of the rental market in Ottawa.

KingSett is a proud supporter of Earth Day. This year we have purchased over 30,000 MWh of Canadian-based Renewable Energy Credits (RECs), 66% more than in previous years. Our REC purchases provide valuable financial support for renewable energy projects and contribute to the social health and well-being of the surrounding communities.
